Clinch Knot
Lubricate knots: Before you tighten a knot, lubricate it with saliva or by dipping it in the water. This will help the knot slide and seat properly. Lubrication also decreases excessive heat which dramatically weakens monofilament. Heat is generated by the friction created when knots are drawn up tight.

Clinch Knot:
The Clinch fishing knot is, perhaps, the most used in the fishing. Here appears it tying " a fly ". 1- Pass the line through the eye of the hook, swivel, or lure. Double back and make five turns around the standing line. 2- Holding the coils in place, thread the tag end of the first loop above the eye, then through the big loop. |

Hold the tag end and standing line while pulling up the coils. Make
sure the coils are in a spiral, not overlapping each other. Slide
against the eye.
4- Clip the tag end. |
